About Namahana Education Foundation
Founded in 2020, Namahana Education Foundation (NEF) is an independent nonprofit organization
established to advance Namahana School’s mission. NEF manages the fundraising and construction
process for the school campus, and generates ongoing community support to cover operational costs not
met by the state’s per-student allocation. NEF’s leadership includes a small staff, as well as an established
volunteer-board of community leaders, award-winning professionals in educational fundraising and
philanthropic management. NEF is a values-driven organization, committed to best practices and
sustaining a supportive and positive work environment for its staff and volunteers. For more about NEF
