Established by founder Roy Okumura in 1951, Valley Isle Produce is now run by president Nelson Okumura, a second generation family owner. In 1963, we expanded beyond only produce and became a broadline foodservice distributor. With over 150 team members, we are here to help you with your home and business needs.

Foodservice Division

VIP Foodservice serves a diverse base of over 760 operators, including resorts, restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare and schools. Our market area includes Maui County - islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Grocery Division

In 1985, we opened our VIP Cash N Carry Store in Kahului, providing value to the general public. Our store name changed to Island Grocery Depot in 2014 to better reflect our goal of servicing residents and visitors.
