About Us

The mission of Kelea Foundation is to make sports and the ocean more accessible to our entirecommunity. We recognize that in order for people to get to the ocean, they must also be able toget to the beach. We work to create an accessible community overall so that everyone can gainequal access to recreation and the Ocean. In the wake of the Maui Fires, Kelea Foundation hasbeen working with community partners to advocate for people with disabilities. We receive,organize and distribute donated medical supplies and durable equipment such as wheelchairs,walkers, bath safety supplies and more. In addition to operating Maui’s largest medical loancloset, we work to advocate at both the individual and operational level to ensure that survivorswith disabilities are getting the resources they need throughout the recovery.
