Surfing Goat Dairy, located in Kula on Maui's slopes of Haleakala, is the island's largest commercial goat dairy. Established in 1999, it has grown to a herd of over 120 milkers on a 42-acre farm. The dairy produces a variety of artisanal cheeses, many of which have won national awards.
Beyond cheese production, the dairy offers tours where visitors can interact with the goats, learn about cheesemaking, and enjoy products like goat milk soaps and chocolates. The farm attracts approximately 75,000 visitors annually. In December 2023, new owner Jay Garnett announced plans to revitalize the farm's operations and enhance the guest experience.
