Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC) is seeking a compassionate, committed Advocate to support individuals impacted by intimate partner violence on their journey to safety, empowerment, and long-term healing.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma or are overcoming life barriers
- Cultural humility and an inclusive approach to advocacy
- Experience or understanding of the dynamics of IPV, especially as they impact LGBTQ+ individuals
- Knowledge of Oʻahu community resources and services is a plus
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide long-term culturally-informed advocacy for up to 30 clients
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive environment for healing
- Offer crisis support, safety planning, and court/community accompaniments
- Conduct regular education and outreach activities on Oʻahu, with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community and IPV awareness
- Support clients in building knowledge, skills, and tools for long-term stability and self-empowerment
