Business Manager for Mary, Star of the Sea Early Learning Center
The finance manager does the following:
· Maintains account records in a current basis in the diocese accounting system
· Record all cash receipts
· Creates and processes yearly tuition contracts and supporting documents including invoices and statements relating to annual, semi-annual, and monthly contracts.
· Maintains documentation for child care subsidies
· Prepare checks in payment of authorized expenditures
· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal use
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
· Prepare worksheets and assist in preparations of the annual budget
· Prepare special reports as needed
· Maintain employee files containing payroll and human resource documentation
· Maintain and process employee payroll through ALTRES
· Help with Mary, Star of the Sea community fundraiser East Honolulu Food Festival financials
· Ensures fiscal management and documentation of the CACFP monies, as well s all other income and expenses
· Attend school board and finance council meetings quarterly
Qualifications:
5 or more years experience in accounting/bookkeeping or Certification or degree in accounting with experience
Pass knowledge, skill, assessment test
Practicing Catholic preferred
