Job Description
Overview:
The Estimator and Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project timelines, and coordinating engineering tasks.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate with clients and team members to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for various construction and engineering projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Project Management:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
Engineering Support:
- Provide technical support and advice to team members and clients.
- Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions.
Client and Vendor Relations:
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Communicate project status, updates, and any necessary changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating or project engineering.
- Familiarity with construction and engineering practices in the state of Hawaii
Certification and Licensing
Valid drivers license with clean drivers record to drive to project sites
