Facilities Coordinator Honolulu, HI | Full-Time | $50,000-$55,000/ year

The Domestic Violence Action Center (DVAC) is seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Coordinator to support our multi-site operations across Oahu. This role serves as the primary point of contact for facilities, logistics, and first-tier IT support across our offices and survivor housing locations.

About the Role:

The Facilities Coordinator ensures all DVAC spaces are safe, functional, well-maintained, and technologically operational. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing vendor relationships (facilities and IT), troubleshooting basic technology issues, overseeing equipment and supply inventory, supporting housing property logistics, and traveling between sites to address operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating routine and emergency maintenance across office and housing sites
  • Serving as first-line support for staff technology needs (hardware, software, connectivity)
  • Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service calls
  • Overseeing supply inventory, deliveries, and inter-site logistics
  • Supporting housing property operations, move-ins/move-outs, and compliance needs
  • Assisting with safety, security, and emergency preparedness efforts

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities, IT support, property management, or related field
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills (computers, printers, networks)
  • Valid Hawaii driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel regularly between Oahu sites

Ideal candidates are independent, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable balancing facilities coordination with technology support in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Frequent travel between Honolulu, Kapolei, and housing sites required. Occasional after-hours support may be needed for emergencies or vendor coordination.
