Job Description
Kamitoku is opening its newest location at South Shore Market in Kakaʻako in late July, and we are looking for experienced Line Cooks to join our opening team.
Our new concept features rich beef bone broth, premium beef dishes, and authentic Japanese flavors served in a lively open-kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity for cooks who want to be part of a restaurant where guests can see and feel the energy of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Kamitoku standards
- Handle opening and closing kitchen duties
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and organization
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
- Experience with Japanese cuisine, ramen, beef, or meat preparation is preferred
- Comfortable using kitchen knives and handling ingredients safely
- Valid Hawaii Food Handler Certification required
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability is highly preferred
