Job Summary

 

Join The Wedding Ring Shop, a locally owned luxury jewelry company, as a dynamic Social Media & Marketing Coordinator. As the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for executing our Social Media strategy, researching and creating campaigns to appeal to a specific target, and playing a key role in increasing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts, and driving sales revenue through event coordination, innovative marketing strategies, and social media management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, social media and event coordination within the luxury retail or jewelry industry
  • Managed outside vendors and agencies and demonstrated success in building positive relationships
  • Proficient in graphic design and applications such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to use social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Familiarity with SMS marketing the creation of animated gifs.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, supporting sales teams with effective tools.
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and teamwork.
  • Flexibility to adapt to last-minute changes and challenges in a dynamic work environment.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Essential Functions

  • Event Coordination:
    • Manage vendor outreach and collaboration for successful event displays.
    • Oversee event setup, including banners, displays, and promotional materials.
    • Coordinate with sales and merchandising teams, distributing marketing materials and providing event information.

  • Marketing and Advertising:
    • Bring The Wedding Ring Shop spirit to life across multiple marketing channels.
    • Execute social media strategy by researching and creating engaging campaigns.
    • Coordinate with agencies for paid social ads, collaborating closely with the CMO on creative strategies.
    • Create and distribute compelling content across various social media platforms.
    • Contribute to growing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts, and increasing sales.

  • Vendor Relationships:
    • Identify and approach local vendors for collaboration, fostering positive partnerships.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with various vendors, including florists, bakeries, and event display specialists.
    • Establish relationships/networks of industry professionals and influencers.

  • Graphic Design Skills:
    • Possesses basic proficiency in Photoshop for creating event-related graphics.
    • Design various materials, including banners, counter cards, feather flags, SMS gifs, and branded cards.

  • Sales Support:
    • Develop personalized email templates with engaging elements and effective calls-to-action.
    • Produce clean and brand-consistent photos and videos to support the sales team.
    • Create SOP documents to support and train team members.

  • Preplanning and Organization:
    • Plan and execute events 1-3 months in advance, adapting to last-minute changes.
    • Utilize organizational tools such as event briefs and Excel sheets for effective planning.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Plan, implement, and monitor our Social Media strategy.
    • Monitor all social media content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok.
    • Build and maintain consistency between digital/social and brick-and-mortar marketing efforts.
    • Define KPIs specifically for social media.
    • Track the performance of day-to-day effectiveness and specific campaigns.
    • Create graphic design and photography/videography content for marketing campaigns.
    • Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content.

Working Conditions

  • Air-conditioned retail and office environment.
  • Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.).
  • May be asked to work extended hours for events (in advance).

 

Schedule

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility Requirement: The role may necessitate flexibility to accommodate events and other business situations.

Experience

  • Social Media Management: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Marketing: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Some higher education with a focus on Marketing is preferred.
