The Teacher Assistant may co-teach, facilitate a small learning group, e.g., math, language arts, and/or help support the Lead Teacher within a class lesson. Teachers receive support within a school team of K8 Counselor, Curriculum Coach and/or Principal. Teacher Assistants are responsible for supervision, and relationship-building while bringing their own talents and passions to our school community. Ratio is typically 1 teacher to 8-10 students.

Experience with our student population is preferred, but an interest and high willingness to learn are also welcomed. The profiles of students at Assets School may represent those who are twice-exceptional (capable students who have learning differences) and may have one or more of the following: executive functioning challenges, ADHD, processing or working memory related issues.
