Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Pay

$60,000 to $80,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide strategic and practical HR guidance.
  • Advise clients on employee relations issues, performance management, workplace policies, and employment law compliance.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and job descriptions.
  • Facilitate employee, supervisor, and management training on topics such as hiring, interviewing, communication, performance management, and harassment prevention.
  • Lead new client onboarding and orientation meetings to establish strong working relationships.
  • Support employee onboarding and new hire orientation programs.
  • Assist clients with FLSA classifications and HR compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and HR solutions.
  • Travel to client locations throughout Hawaii, including neighbor islands, as needed.
  • Contribute to special projects and other HR initiatives that support organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience handling employee relations, workplace investigations, or compliance matters is highly desirable.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
