The Location:

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

 

The Position:

We're looking for passionate Scheduling Assistant to ensure appropriate staffing within the neighborhood. Modifying schedules as needed and communicating schedule changes to managers and staff in a timely manner.

  • Prepares monthly staffing schedules in accordance with established standards and budgetary guidelines.
  • Assists in preparing weekly work assignments with consideration for resident and neighborhood needs and staff licensure.
  • Reconciles electronic time keeping system.
  • Provides weekend coverage and as needed in the absence of the Scheduling Coordinator.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
  • 1 year of administrative or health care experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
  • Weekend shift
