Electrician Maintenance

The Facilities department provides safe and functional facilities for our guests and employees by maintaining the physical structures of the resort. The Electrician Maintenance supports the resort and its guests by ensuring safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction within the property.

The role of the Electrician can provide you with:

• The opportunity to make a direct impact on the guest experience by assisting the maintenance team to provide safe and efficient facilities.

The ideal candidate possesses a moderate degree of skill in related trades including basic A/C and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and mechanics with strong preference for experience in a hotel/resort setting with high levels of guest interaction. The ideal candidate also possesses strong work ethics, excellent time management skills and a natural aptitude for guest service.

A typical day for the Electrician Maintenance may include the following responsibilities:

• Responding to maintenance requests within guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house operations.
• Diagnosing problems and repairing existing equipment to ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills, abilities and attributes:

• Possesses knowledge of all aspects of electrical wiring, residential and commercial.
• The ability to speak, read and write in the English language.
• The ability to perform tasks with little instruction or supervision and work independently with high output.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• The ability to engage in considerable physical activity on a consistent basis.
• Neat and professional appearance, a genuine spirit of Aloha and the desire to provide great service.
• As a condition of employment, candidates must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screenings including criminal background check, drug screening and professional references.
• Strong working knowledge and high skill in the use of hand and power tools.
