The Housekeeping department supports memorable guest experiences by providing clean and aesthetically pleasing facilities. The Housekeeping Clerk provides clerical efficient support of Housekeeping operations.

 

The role of Housekeeping Clerk can provide you with:

A typical day for a Housekeeping Clerk may include the following responsibilities:

  • Answer all phone calls quickly and professionally, receive and log guest requests and dispatch appropriate Housekeeping personnel to fulfill requests in a timely manner.
  • Answer general inquiries of the Housekeeping office.
  • Assist management with Housekeeper room assignments and facilitate room service operations through use of the Property Management System.
  • Prepare reports, schedules, requisitions, correspondence, and other related written materials.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills, abilities and attributes:

  • The ability to speak, read and write in the English language.
  • The ability to perform tasks with little instruction or supervision and work independently with high output.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong ability to pay attention to detail and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and engage in considerable computer and office work on a consistent basis.
  • Neat and professional appearance, a genuine spirit of Aloha and the desire to provide great service.
  • As a condition of employment, candidate must be able to satisfy all pre-employment screenings including criminal background check, drug screening and professional references.
