This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, people leadership, and making magic happen behind the scenes—while honoring integrity, professionalism, and the perpetuation of Hawaiian culture.

This position begins part-time with immediate responsibility and is intentionally designed to grow into a full-time leadership role as tour volume, systems, and team needs expand. It’s a great fit for an experienced tour coordinator, dispatcher, assistant manager, or hospitality operations professional ready to step into true operations leadership.

🧭 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling & Dispatch: Coordinate guides, vehicles, and tours using booking platforms, shared calendars, email, and WhatsApp communication (Slack App a plus).
  • Guide Support & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for guides before, during, and after tours.
  • Problem-Solving & Adjustments: Manage weather shifts, guest changes, staffing needs, and last-minute logistics with calm confidence.
  • Guest Experience Oversight: Support the guest journey from booking through post-tour follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Help refine workflows, checklists, and operational systems as the company stabilizes and scales.
  • Team & Leadership Development: Support onboarding, monthly team trainings, and guide readiness as responsibilities grow.
  • Ownership Collaboration: Work directly with female ownership on operations, growth planning, and continuous improvement.

  • Clear, professional, and kind communication with staff, vendors, and guests
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfort with FareHarbor (or similar booking systems), Google Workspace, and digital scheduling tools (additional training offered)
  • Maui tourism experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (passenger vehicle exp a plus)

🌴 Bonus Points For

  • Bonus potential tied to operational performance, guest satisfaction, and team stability
  • Clear growth pathway toward Director of Operations
(Timeline for full-time transition depends on business growth and mutual fit.)
