Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a full-time capacity. The position is based in Lahaina; candidates must reside on Maui’s West Side or be able and willing to commute daily.

In this essential role, you will ensure the reliable operation of machinery through proactive maintenance and repairs, supporting overall production efficiency and equipment longevity.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.

•  Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, diesel, and hydraulic systems.

•  Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for diagnostics and repairs.

•  Conduct welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.

•  Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to facilitate effective troubleshooting and system understanding.

Qualifications and Skills:

•  Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance.

•  Proficiency in electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.

•  Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for equipment diagnostics and management.

•  Experience with welding processes across various materials.

•  Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.

•  Proficient use of diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and multimeters, for electrical testing.

•  Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide team members.

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
