Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Pool Attendant to assist a resort on the Kaanapali coast. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable pool environment for guests while providing exceptional service.

This is a temporary position starting ASAP through November. Full-time and Part-time schedules are available ranging from 25-40 hours per week. Previous customer service and hospitality experience is required.

Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm varying days, weekends and holidays included

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Manage towel exchange for guests
• Prepare cabanas for opening, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, raising canopies and beds, and ensuring the surrounding area is clean and presentable
• Prepare cabanas for closing by lowering beds and canopies, removing used towels, and performing necessary cleaning
• Assist guests with cabana reservations, including checking manifests and collecting guest information
• Monitor cabanas throughout the day to ensure proper usage and cleanliness
• Process and submit room charges to the concierge by 4:30 pm daily
• Return all submitted room keys to the front desk at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior experience in a similar role or field
• Strong mathematical abilities for handling transactions and inventory
• Excellent reading and writing skills for maintaining accurate records
• Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• Capable of standing and sitting for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and State and Federal background check
