CDL A Driver - Construction & Skilled Trades

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and semi-trucks
- Transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo information
- Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and fellow team members
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

Requirements:

- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL A driver, preferably in the construction industry
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Familiarity with construction equipment and materials is a plus
- DOT medical card and ability to pass regular drug screenings
