Roll Off Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in our waste management operations, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of roll off containers for our commercial and residential customers throughout the service area.

Responsibilities:

- Operate roll off truck to deliver and retrieve waste containers at customer locations
- Safely load and unload roll off containers at various job sites, including construction sites, commercial properties, and residential areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
- Secure containers properly on the truck bed and ensure safe transport on public roadways
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding container placement and pickup schedules
- Complete daily logs, delivery tickets, and other required documentation accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns to management immediately
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company policies

Requirements:

- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to operate roll off truck equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception for precise container placement
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including climbing on and off equipment
- Capability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work early morning hours and occasional overtime as needed
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
