Job Summary:

A Utility Kitchen Cleaner (overnight shift) is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness & organization of kitchen environment. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation and cleanliness of the dishwashing machine

• Responsible for washing of all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen and banquet department

• Maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, & utensils in a clean & orderly condition

• Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster and cleaning all containers.

• Cleans walls in kitchen as appropriate, especially in dish room areas

• Cleans floor mats, sweeps and mops entire kitchen floor daily

• Assists in cleaning ovens and refrigerators

• Ensures that the floor is always kept dry and free of debris

• Assists with unloading shipments, dating items, and putting items away

• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies

• Perform machine work and stocking duties as necessary

• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to the property and Ganir’s expectations

• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow SDS and OSHA standards

• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by management

• Ensure overall client satisfaction

Qualifications Required:

• Previous work in a team environment preferred

• Basic knowledge/awareness of safety hazards and safety practices

• Must be able understand directions and instructions given in English

• Must be able to legally work in the United States of America

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

· Must be able to reach with hands or arms

· Balance/stoop/bend/twist/push

· Talk and hear

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time

· May lift to 50lbs & push/pull up to 100lbs with proper equipment

· May be required to wear basic PPE per job function
