Sightseeing Tour Reservationist

Role Description The Sightseeing Tour Reservationist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kahului, HI. This position handles inbound phone calls and emails from guests, answers questions about tours, and assists with selecting and booking the most suitable sightseeing experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include making and modifying reservations in the booking system, confirming details with guests, handling payment information securely, and providing accurate information about tour schedules, pickup locations, and policies. The role also includes greeting walk-in guests, coordinating with tour operations and drivers regarding passenger lists, and ensuring all reservations are accurate and complete. The Reservationist will maintain organized records, follow established procedures, and contribute to a welcoming, professional atmosphere for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Communication skills to support guests before and after their tours.
• Experience with Reservations and related Receptionist Duties, such as managing booking systems, maintaining schedules.
• Professional Phone Etiquette and clear verbal communication when answering calls, explaining tour options, and resolving guest concerns.
• Basic computer proficiency, including using reservation or CRM software, email, and standard office applications.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site in Kahului, HI, including weekends or holidays as needed for tourism demand.
• Two (2) years of sales, customer service, and/or hospitality industry experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in hospitality or travel is a plus.
