Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Office Administrative Assistant to support our client's busy property management team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. This is a temporary role for the next 2-3 months, though it may become permanent if it's the right fit.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Location

Wailuku, Maui

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document management while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff and office operations.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders to ensure the office remains fully stocked and operational.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to staff as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of administrative or clerical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional with a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and invoicing.
  • Familiarity with office systems or CRM software.
