ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR
Join our team as Accounting Coordinator and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team.  We are looking for a self-starter with strong and clear communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, kindness, and flexibility.  This person will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Import and review accounts payable daily data feed from BirchStreet Purchasing System into Accounts Payable module in Great Plains.
  • Responds to queries related to Accounts Payable from other departments.
  • Receives and resolve accounts payable calls from vendors as needed.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Audit cash and credit card activity for all outlets and ensure the accurate and complete deposit or transmittal to the bank or processing company daily.
  • Assist Director and Assistant Director of Finance with the month-end process.
  • Assist senior accounting personnel with any tasks conducted within the accounting department

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business Bachelors degree or three (3) years related work experience prefer
  • Basic knowledge and understanding Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
  • Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing.
  • Strong people skills – a polite and professional demeanor when working with other companies, as well as consumers and coworkers
  • Able to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding sensitive information.
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiar with PMS Opera, POS InfoGenesis, Book4time, Google Suite platform, and Microsoft Office application.
