The person in this position has overall responsibility for the Information Technology (IT) systems, hardware, and infrastructure of the Waimānalo Health Center, provides strategic vision and guidance on system interoperability and information exchange with external partners, payers, and agencies. This position also manages the Medical Records Department and has the role of Waimānalo Health Center’s Information Security Officer. Responsible for procurement, maintenance, implementations, and contracting efforts in compliance with commonly acceptable healthcare industry standards. Complies with required policies and regulations. Develops project/program specifications, written policies/procedures, and coordinates system changes with a high level of attention to detail and record keeping. Concisely communicates, performs, delegates, and assigns to affected parties.
