Summary
The Registered Nurse in this role will primarily be based out of the School-Based Health Clinic (SBHC) and will oversee the SBHC on a day-to-day basis in conjunction with Ku I Ka Mana (KIKM), WHC providers in various specialties, medical assistants, the Student Health Assistant (SHA), school staff and administration. While performing this role, the RN will also perform the duties of the Quality Program Specialist by assisting the Director of Quality Improvement (DQI) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) to develop, implement, maintain and evaluate the quality and performance activities which serve the employees and patients of Waimanalo Health Center. The Quality Program Specialist serves as a liaison between the health plans, AHARO Hawai`i, and Waimanalo Health Center to ensure the performance deliverables (activities related to performance incentive payments) are met. Works to ensure data integrity, accurate documentation is maintained, improve scores/outcomes, conduct focused education/training and sustain relationships with partner agencies.
